Reading about writing is as good as writing


If, like me, you are so fascinated by writing, you read every single word you can find on it, here’s a few websites I think you’ll like…

The Electric Typewriter has a number of great pages on books and writing, but I like their Words and Writing section which has links to some amazing articles by writers on writing.

This site here gives you access to the 100 best blogs on writing for the past year and is full of links to some great writing blogs.

I’d also advise would-be writers to join a professionally run writing class, such as those run by colleges and universities.  That way you’ll be around other would-be writers, you’ll be able to critique each other’s work and get feedback, and you’ll pick up some excellent tips from your teacher.
